The Faces Behind the Fog
Whether you're a seasoned GSTAR Agent or a first-time recruit, the world of Geoshale is full of faces worth knowing. Some will guide you, some will fight beside you, and one will literally narrate your life. Let's meet the cast.
Playable Characters
Skylar: An ordinary kid who finds themselves swept up in an epic sci-fi conflict. Skylar is the only character who appears inside the 3D game environment — and you choose how they look. Pick from male or female versions at the start of your adventure.
Mentor Characters
Wyll - GSTAR Agent · Mentor: Skylar's guide and mentor. Wyll is a skilled, accomplished GSTAR Agent — and remarkably, about the same age as Skylar.
Belen -Sentient Order · Scientist: A trained mind-master of the Sentient Order who runs the ship's science lab. Belen works alongside Skylar to develop an antidote to the mysterious fog.
Wyll and Belen both serve as mentors to Skylar’s. Wyll and Belen are very present in the beginning missions as the player is working on cultivating their own inner voice. As the player’ moves through the missions and as their inner voice develops, Wyll and Belen's presence gradually decreases. The idea is that by the end of the training, the player does not need a mentor to guide them through challenges and can instead use their own inner voice to achieve success.
Other Characters
Shalien Ambassador - Geoshale Native · Diplomat: A representative of the native civilization of Geoshale. The Ambassador communicates directly with Skylar about the mission and what's at stake for their world.
Zenobia - Young Shalien · Ally: A young Shalien around Skylar's age who joins the team for the final push to rid Geoshale of the Master Smogbot.
Lightbreaker Novo - AI · Ship Voice: The space transport's synthesized computer voice. Novo delivers incidental information and instructions throughout the game — always there, never seen.
